ARIIA is seeking applications from organisations who have a project that will contribute to the betterment of the aged care sector through improved service delivery, adoption of technology and quality of care, and can address one of ARIIA’s sector priorities.
Round 4 Applications Open Now
Over the course of 2022-2024, the ARIIA Grant Program will consist of up to six rounds. ARIIA will fund projects with a maximum of $160,000 (ex GST) each along with mandatory co-contributions to support translational research projects running for a 12-month period.
Each grant round will be funded against key sector priorities of focus for ARIIA and the aged care sector. For Round 4 ARIIA has consulted with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and agreed to add the priority topic ‘Addressing staff burnout to increase retention of the aged care workforce’.
Round 4 will focus on funding projects aligned to the following topics:
- Dementia care
- Restorative care, reablement & rehabilitation
- Social isolation
- Mental health & wellbeing
- Palliative care and end of life
- Meaningful lifestyle activities
- Addressing staff burnout to increase retention of the aged care workforce
- Urgent & critical need.
