Dr Philippa Rokkas (Pip) is a Research Fellow at ARIIA. She is a public health professional with more than 30 years’ clinical, research and project experience in Australia and internationally. Pip has an eclectic work portfolio, specialising in global health, primary health care, communicable disease control, disaster response and workforce development. 

She has worked in the Asia-Pacific and Africa in humanitarian and public health programs, including with Médecins Sans Frontières and RedR Australia. Pip's expertise spans public health nursing, aged care innovation, and capacity building in remote communities. Pip is passionate about empowering the health workforce to build the skills and confidence they need to implement best practice in their organisations.
